Memorandum of Understanding with National Enabling Good Lives
On 8 February 2024 Whaikaha - Ministry of Disabled People and National Enabling Good Lives (NEGL) Leadership Group signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), formalising an agreement to work together for better outcomes for disabled people.
Whaikaha and NEGL will work together on expanding the Enabling Good Lives based regional leadership networks and assisting service providers to understand the approach.
NEGL will also work with Whaikaha to ensure key projects and priorities are aligned with the Enabling Good Lives approach, and support Whaikaha in work with other government agencies to steward change across the public service.
